Weighing revamp of game design


With version 0.30 I have added new scenes and polished the game including making sure you can exit the school server room. I am considering changing many situations of game over into something else entirely. The basic idea is that the player when killed would end up somewhere such as another world or some sort of afterlife realm instead of ending the game.

Right now I am leaning toward a end up in another world situation over going to an afterlife realm for if the player is killed in the main world the story line takes place in. But do see the appeal of adding a afterlife realm into the game and even if I do not elect to use it for this feature I could still end up with it effecting the main plot.

I welcome constructive feedback on this and other aspects of the game's design.

An afterlife feature would be interesting, maybe it could give the player buffs to health or damage so players that struggle with the game get a boost?

I've been working a bit on an after life stage. I'll consider making it give some sort of buff.
